In the oil and gas industry, the return on investment for an oil and gas asset depends on Successful engineering, procuring, fabricating and constructing the asset on schedule and within budget. This involves the handover of information from engineering to construction. X4D is a software tool designed to assist engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) Companies and oil and gas plant operators to monitor their project execution baseline plan with actual field progress data using 3D visualization and collaborative in a database driven Environment.

X4D can pull in design data from engineering database systems, scheduling information, progress or status data from the field and stores the data in an SQL database. This information can then be used by product teams to visualize plan vs. actual project build status on a 3D model and share comments in a collaborative environment to improve the project execution schedule.

X4D is made up of three modules:

  Imported Data is consolidated by the system into Project Tags and Classifications. These Project Tags and Classifications form the basis of Integrated Engineering Design across the disciplines and the documents.

  Allows Collabrative 3D Model Design Reviews and Comments Markup across muliple locations, Navigation of model as per Project Issued Tags, Classifications, Progress Status, Constructions Status, Project Schedule, Commissioning System etc.

  Within 3D Review Model, any selected item can be navigated with all its properties from Line List, Equipment List, Instrument List, Vendor Data, Progress Data, Commissioning Data, Drawings & Documents.

• X4D Reports Module
  Navigation of X4D database and create Project Reports.
  Project Reports are created as Database Query and not as Static Reports. So, data changes will update Reports automatically.
